Kamenyamiggo station is located in Lwengo district. It is strategically located to provide services to districts in the southern part of the Central region including Kiboga Mubende, Kassanda, Gomba, Bukomansimbi, Masaka, Kalungu, Lwengo, and Kalangala.

The station is designated for conducting adaptive research, crop seed and pasture production for MUZARDI. This location is be ideal for adaptive research for the cattle corridor.

The station is also designated as a center for piggery breeding and multiplication in NARO.

It also has very good conferencing and administrative facilities.
